Product description
The BioDeviceLab Headband-Integrated Multiplex Electrochemical Microfluidic Patch combines soft wearable textiles, microfluidic sampling, and high-density electrochemical sensing in a single, compact head-mounted platform. The system embeds an array of ten screen-printed electrode (SPE) biosensors within a transparent microfluidic patch that is seamlessly integrated into a comfortable headband for stable forehead placement.

Sweat is passively collected at the skin interface using an integrated absorbent pad and distributed through a low-dead-volume microfluidic manifold to individual sensing chambers. Each chamber houses a dedicated SPE functionalized for a specific biomarker, enabling parallel, multiplex electrochemical measurements from a single biofluid source. On-patch electronics perform signal conditioning and multiplexed readout, while a wireless module enables real-time data transmission.

The SPE-based architecture allows scalable sensor integration, low-cost manufacturing, and compatibility with enzyme-based, ion-selective, and redox-active sensing chemistries, making the platform suitable for both research and translational applications.
