Donkey Anti-Rabbit IgG (H+L) Alexa Fluor™ 488 is an affinity-purified polyclonal secondary antibody raised in donkey and covalently conjugated to Alexa Fluor™ 488. The antibody recognizes both heavy and light chains of rabbit IgG, providing strong and uniform signal amplification in indirect detection assays. Alexa Fluor™ 488 is a bright, photostable green fluorophore with high quantum yield and low background, making it well suited for multiplex fluorescence imaging and quantitative analysis. This secondary antibody is compatible with standard biological samples as well as advanced platforms including organoids, microfluidic systems, and organ-on-chip devices.
Intended Use
This product is intended for research applications including
• Immunofluorescence and immunocytochemistry
• Cell and tissue imaging
• Organoid, spheroid, and 3D culture analysis
• Multiplex fluorescence assays
• Microfluidic and organ-on-chip staining workflows
• Biosensor and biodevice validation
Principle of Operation
The antibody binds specifically to rabbit IgG molecules previously bound to target antigens by primary antibodies. Fluorescent labeling enables
• Indirect signal amplification
• High-sensitivity detection of antigen–antibody complexes
• Compatibility with multiplex fluorescence panels
• Stable signal generation under standard imaging conditions
